Human Rights, Inc. by Joseph R. Slaughter
Human Rights, Inc. helps to define human rights and literature as an emerging field in the humanities. Slaughter teaches us to read human rights legal discourses for the stories they contain (and those they do not), to attend to the human rights implications of world literary narratives, and to imagine the possibility of other legal and literary forms for humanitarian storytelling.
