Professor of Biology
The Philosophy of Freedom
by Rudolf Steiner
I encountered the poly-math Rudolf Steiner when I was a freshman in college, and have been influenced by his work ever since. His influence has made me a better and more well-rounded person, and has influenced the most original part of my biological research. This book, his major philosophical work, got me interested in philosophy and epistemology, subjects that have informed how I think about biological problems. I owe Steiner a tremendous debt. It would be inappropriate of me to choose any other author.
