Hooray for Diffendoofer Day!
by Dr. Seuss along with Jack Prelutsky & Lane Smith
This book was shared with me by a friend who truly embraces teaching and helped remind me that there are so many ways to teach so that your students can learn. This Dr. Seuss book helps illustrate that teachers should be creative in their teaching and that if they share the "wonders" of the world with their students, students will learn and be able to overcome any challenges they face, including standardized testing and more. This is a children's book for teachers and should be read by anyone going into education, particularly public school education and teacher preparation.
