The Path to Hope
by Stephane Hessel & Edgar Morin
These 90-something year old Frenchmen are calling for a strong citizen movement to positively influence the world today. They draw on their lifelong commitment to democracy to speak out about the problem of "finance capitalism" and its relationship to globalization, education, fellowship/community, homelessness, the Occupy movement, food security, sustainability, and more. This is one of the best books I have ever read--full of hope, suggestions for change, and inspiration from men who make me think getting older is not so bad after all.
