I admire Kahneman's ability to characterize the complexity of the human mind - the controlled and the automatic - so adeptly in this book. Moreover, Kahneman's approach to scientific collaboration throughout his career is exemplary: science is both fruitful and fun when we genuinely want to learn from and understand others. I believe that this approach can extend beyond science to everyday life in encouraging all of us to embrace a diversity of thought.
